Hello Haiti

Learn to do good.
Seek justice.
Help the oppressed.
Defend the cause of the orphans.
Fight for the rights of the widows.
Isaiah 1:17

(God’s mandate for the people)

Headed to Haiti this week with this verse (Isaiah 1:17) hidden in my heart.

We go (Mark,Sarah,Thomas, Rachael) to prepare and pray for the groups coming this year.
We are asking the Lord to indeed, “Establish the work of our hands.” (Psalm 90:17)

1 in every 4 children are orphaned.

80% unemployment rate.

And yet…there is HOPE living and breathing in this country.

Hope not fueled by pity, but fueled by Christ’s compassion and His work on the cross to see every person freed from darkness.  We’re focused and zeroed in on the helpless- the Haitian children.  I love children!   It will be a gift to sing over them, pray over them, HUG them and be apart of what God is doing…Can’t wait.

Pictures to Come. Please pray for us. Thanks!
